Witness Lema has a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance acquired from Mzumbe University. At AAPH Witness works as a Finance Officer, overseeing in performing financial and accounting duties focusing on managing and analyzing Budgets from various donors and Partners across Africa through ARISE Network. She has experience in financial and Accounting matters regarding grants management, Reports preparation basing on requirements needed from different donors neither the less than timely bank reconciliation, Payroll preparation and processing, statutory and project audit preparation, maintaining and updating staff imprest, Posting Accounting data and information into Quickbooks system, ensuring adherence to GAAP’s, IPSAs and IFRS and managing day to day operations also, performing managerial roles including teamwork, communication and motivation ensuring high quality in delivering result.Previously she worked with civil society organizations as a Project Accountant who implemented direct service delivering projects under USAID, and later moved to Family Health International 360 to work as a consultant.
