Dr Roshini Moodley Naidoo is the Professor of Practice at the College of Health Solutions, Arizona State University, a former member of Discovery Heath’s Executive Committee (EXCO) and former Head and General Manager of Strategic Risk Management, holding accountability for the operating performance of all client health plans. Emerging out of her professional interests, Roshini founded and stewards a new Discovery Health business unit focused on Quality of Care improvement. Roshini’s previous work in the United States involved oversight of public-private partnerships for Oxfam over a three year period, culminating in a published United Nations Global Compact study that evaluated the economic and social footprint of multinational corporations in developing countries. Roshini is a medical doctor by profession. She serves on the Board of Directors of Health Quality Assurance (HQA), a non-profit organisation that is a national steward for excellence in quality of care measurement and reporting. Roshini has earned a Master in Public Health degree from the Harvard Chan School of Public Health and a Master in Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School where she was a Leadership fellow.
